Sharepoint Indexing

When you create a new assistant, a default SharePoint folder is automatically created for it. You can upload documents directly to this folder, no need to index each file manually. You can also link additional SharePoint folders if needed to expand your sources.
Note: If you only create a corpus (without an assistant), a default SharePoint folder will not be created.

Link a SharePoint Folder:#

1. Click on Assistants#

3. Click on the three dots next to the assistant#

5. Select the corpus where you want to index the data.#
Note: We're selecting the default corpus for the assistant here, there can be multiple corpuses attached to the assistant

9. Click on "Open Sharepoint URL" icon#

13. Soon you will recieve a notification on app.ejento confirming the indexing has been completed#

14. You can also add another SharePoint folder—either with the default one (if you made an assistant) or on its own (if you only made a corpus)#

16. A pop-up confirmation will appear indicating that the link has been copied.#

17. Paste your SharePoint Folder URL#

18. Enable Sync (Toggle On/Off)#
When enabled, any new files or folders added to that SharePoint folder in the future will automatically be included in your corpus.
If disabled, only the files currently present in the SharePoint folder will be added to the corpus.

20. A Microsoft pop-up will appear where you need to authorize your account to proceed.#

21. You will receive a notification confirming the indexing has been completed#

Remove SharePoint Connection:#

22. Click on "Delete Sharepoint URL" icon#
Note: The default SharePoint folder cannot be removed.

23. You Have Two Options:#
Remove Connection Only:
This will disconnect the SharePoint folder, so future documents uploaded to it won’t be added to your corpus. However, the documents currently in your corpus will remain.
Remove Connection and Associated Documents:
This will remove both the connection and all documents previously added from this SharePoint folder.

24. Select your preferred option, then click 'Yes' to confirm#

25. The SharePoint connection is removed; only the default folder remains.#
