  1. Teams

Overview

In Ejento AI, a Team is a collaborative grouping mechanism designed to streamline workflows and organize user access. Teams allow you to group members who share common goals or work on the same projects, making it easy to manage permissions across your organization in bulk.

Role of Teams in the Hierarchy#

Teams sit within the Organization and serve as a bridge between users and resources (Projects and Assistants).
AttributeDetails
InheritanceTeams inherit administrative control from Global Admins.
PropagationWhen a Team is added to a Project, all members of that Team gain access to that Project and all its Assistants.

Team Roles & Permissions#

To ensure secure and efficient operations, team members are assigned one of two roles:

Admin#

The Team Admin holds administrative privileges over the team itself.
CapabilityDetails
ManagementCan add or remove team members and update their roles.
Resource AccessCan manage which Projects or Assistants the team is assigned to.
SettingsCan edit team details or delete the team if it is no longer required.

Member#

By default, new users added to a team are assigned the Member role. This role is designed for collaboration without administrative overhead.
CapabilityDetails
UsageCan view and interact with all resources (Projects and Assistants) that have been shared with the team.
RestrictionsCannot modify team settings, change roles, or remove other members.

Managing Team Access#

Teams are highly flexible. An administrator can grant a Team access to a Project as either an Admin (full control) or a Member (usage only).
Example
You might create a "Marketing" Team and grant them Member access to the "Email Campaign" Project. Every user in that team will then see the project and all the ssistants within the Project.
TIP
By leveraging Teams, Ejento AI promotes efficient teamwork and simplifies security management across your enterprise.
