Microsoft Teams

Ejento AI also supports integration within the Microsoft Teams Interface, This allows a convenient way to interact with the assistants for users who use Teams, without having to switch between multiple apps.

Adding Ejento AI in a Team’s Channel#

1. If you want to add Ejento in a Team’s Channel. Go to Apps in your team’s applications and search for Ejento AI.#

2. When Ejento AI appears in the results, click the “Add” button to install it.#

3. Search for the channel in which you want to add the Bot and then press on “Go”#

4. Click on "Post in channel".#

5. Start a new post with mentioning Ejento AI and directly typing in the query and click on Post.#

Adding Ejento AI as a Bot#

1. If you want to converse with Ejento AI as a simple chatbot, go to more apps in the team’s app and install Ejento AI by simply clicking on the “Add” Button.#

2. Once the app has been added, click Open to launch Ejento AI.#

This will open Ejento’s Chatbot experience as a new chat. Now, you can start conversing with Ejento directly by configuring an assistant in the same manner as defined for the Teams’ Channel version.

3. You can now start interacting with Ejento AI as a standard chatbot.#

NOTE: In case of directly conversing with assistant you should not mention Ejento AI.

Adding Ejento AI in a Group Chat#

1. If you want to add Ejento AI to a group chat so members can interact with it as a simple chatbot, go to More Apps in the team’s applications, search for Ejento AI, and install it by clicking the “Add” button.#

2. Select the chat in which you wish to add Ejento AI and then press on “Go”#

3. Ejento has now been added to a group chat. You can now proceed with setting up an assistant in the same manner as defined for Teams’ Channel.#
